Bible teaching on “THE LOVE OF MONEY”.

It is very important that we also realize the dangers associated with the love of money. The world is already bad as it is, a lot of Crafty individuals who just sit down and begin to think of what people need more than any other thing and that is “MONEY”.

These people then begin to think of a way to exploit them of their hard earned money with what they need most, “MONEY”.

We are not new to this scheme known as “PONZI”.
Someone will tell you to bring 5 people with your money and it will automatically be doubled for you. Alot of people have been defrauded through this means because we want to earn without working. You want to reap from what someone else sow.
Some will tell you to invest in them and get almost 50% of your investment in a month. Even banks don’t even give that much. They will tell you that they have real estates just to prove that they are actually doing something but land takes a lot of time to appreciate in value. No one says you shouldn’t invest, do some research first before investing.

The society have made things even worse because we see these people as celebrities, we want to be like them and so they automatically turn to motivational speakers. Then after they have defrauded alot of people, these people will still not learn from their mistakes.

Personally, being poor isn’t a bad thing, I didn’t say wretched. Being wretched might mean that you are too lazy to work with your hands.

A man who can’t feed his family is worse than an infidel.

If you have food to eat and then clothes to wear which God promised us and then focus on the eternal life, then we shouldn’t worry about garnering riches for ourselves. It is true that we want to have a better life, but how much are we willing to sacrifice??

How much money will be so enough for us not to ever worry again?

Are you willing to live like the rich man with his barn who wanted to enjoy life but had it taken away from him?

The wise man Solomon asked God not to give him too much to forget about him. There is no end to more money and nothing can be compared to eternal life.

Proverbs 30:7 Two things have I required of thee; deny me them not before I die:
30:8 Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me:
30:9 Lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, Who is the LORD? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain.

Paul was a lawyer who learned from Gamaliel himself choosed to be a tent maker. He was willing to sacrifice his career for something better. A contented man has ridden himself from greed and alot of sin. It is all about where our priorities lies; what we value the most. When you have an honest means of income and not barter with the things of God, God will surely come through for us.

Do you want to be saved? You have to believe in Jesus and his message of salvation.
